AGENDA
The Governing Body of the City of Milford will meet in regular session on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at 7 p.m. at the Community Center, 109 S. Main Street, Milford, Texas.  The City Council of the City of Milford reserves the right to adjourn in closed/executive session at any time during the course of this meeting to discuss any of the matters listed in this agenda, in the order deemed appropriate, as authorized by Texas Government Code 551, or to seek the advice of its attorney on any matter in which the duty of the attorney to the City Council under Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with Texas Government Code Chapter 551 or as otherwise may be permitted under 551.

Thanks to the Titus Women and especially Arveal Wimbish and Willa Wheatley for the beautiful flowers planted at the Post Office.  With the sprinkler system and new grass planted by the Post Office, the whole area is taking on a whole new look! 

City announces a change in trash pickup day beginning the week of December 5.  Trash will be picked up on Tuesday, December 6 instead of Monday.  Recycle day will remain on Thursdays.  Trash should be at curb by 7am in bags.  No loose trash allowed in cans.  Eight bag limit.  Citizens are asked to remove cans after trash pickup to make area look better and to ensure you will have a can for next week! 

Burn ban lifted for Ellis County as of November 4!

Milford ISD has a green bin by the concession stand in front of the school to recycle paper products-newspaper, phone books, office paper, cardboard, cereal boxes, magazines, brown paper bags, construction paper.  Money raised from recycling will be used for school projects.

Garage sale permits are required by City with two sales per year allowed at each address.  Fee is $5.  Estate sale permits are $25 and only one time per address allowed.  Stop by City Hall to get a permit and instructions as to number of signs allowed and placement of signs for sale.

Milford Bulldog Booster Club meets the first Monday of the month beginning at 8pm at the First Baptist Church, E. Crossmain and N. Pecan, in Milford.  Come support the Bulldogs!
